Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sorenson Advertising LLC, doing business as Brand Revolt (“Brand Revolt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit thebrandrevolt.com (the “Site”), contact us, or otherwise interact with us.
We are a full-service marketing and advertising agency based in the United States, and our services are directed to clients and users in the United States. This policy describes our practices and the privacy rights available to you, including under California law.
1. Territorial Scope and Intended Audience
Our services are directed to and intended for clients and users located in the United States.
The Site is not directed to, and we do not offer goods or services to, or monitor the behavior of, individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK).
We do not intend to collect personal data from individuals located in the EEA or the UK. Any such contact made through our Site is incidental and unsolicited.
2. Geographic Restrictions
We do not currently offer our services or accept submissions from individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom. If you are located in these regions, please do not submit any personal information through our website. Any attempts to submit data from restricted jurisdictions may be ignored or deleted.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions. When you fill out a contact or inquiry form, we collect the information you provide, which typically includes your name, email address, company or organization name, and the contents of your message.
- Email and other communications. When you email us at hello@thebrandrevolt.com or otherwise communicate with us, we collect your contact details and the contents of your message, including any attachments.
- Newsletter and marketing signups. If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates, we collect your email address.
- Website audit requests. If you request a free website audit report, we collect your name, email address, organization, and the website address you submit, and we email you a report.
- Chat. If you use the chat widget on our Site, we collect the information you provide in the chat and related metadata.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookies and Analytics section below and our Cookie Notice.
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, or health data) through the Site.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries, requests, and messages;
- Provide, discuss, and deliver our marketing and advertising services;
- Communicate with you about projects, proposals, and our business relationship;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our Site;
- Understand how visitors use our Site through analytics;
- Send you newsletters, updates, and marketing communications you have requested (you can opt out at any time);
- Prevent spam and abuse on our forms (for example, through reCAPTCHA);
- Comply with our legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights, your rights, and the rights of others.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, secure our forms, and understand how the Site is used. Some are strictly necessary for the Site to function; others are optional and load only with your permission.
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our Site. Vercel Analytics provides aggregated traffic and performance data and is designed to operate without using tracking cookies or collecting personally identifiable information.
With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _gid) and collects usage data, including approximate location, device information, and pages visited. It loads only after you accept cookies, and withdrawing your consent stops it from loading and removes the Google Analytics cookies we can clear.
When you first visit, we present a cookie banner so you can accept or reject optional cookies. Optional third-party features, such as our GoHighLevel chat widget, load only after you accept. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection; to avoid setting cookies before you engage with us, reCAPTCHA loads only when you begin interacting with a form. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in our footer. For details, see our Cookie Notice.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We share personal information with third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf. These providers are permitted to use personal information only as needed to provide their services to us. Our providers include:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting, content delivery, traffic analytics (Vercel Analytics), and file/media storage |
| MongoDB Atlas | Cloud database storage for form submissions and site content |
| Resend | Sending transactional and notification emails (such as form confirmations and audit reports) |
| GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) | CRM, chat widget, newsletter, and contact/lead management |
| Google (reCAPTCHA) | Spam and abuse protection on forms |
| Google (Analytics) | Consent-based website usage analytics |
7. How We Share Information
We share personal information only as described in this policy, including:
- With service providers who process information on our behalf, as described above.
- For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; to enforce our terms and agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brand Revolt, our clients, or others.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent — or at your direction.
8. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
9. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. In general, we retain contact-form submissions and related inquiries until the related inquiry or lead is closed, and thereafter only as long as needed for our legitimate business records or to comply with our legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify the information.
11. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@thebrandrevolt.com. We will verify your request using the information you provide, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA): identifiers (such as name, email address, and IP address); commercial or professional information (such as company name and the contents of your inquiry); and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as usage data collected through cookies and analytics). We collect this information from you directly and automatically through your use of the Site.
12. Data Location and Processing
We are based in the United States, and the personal information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. Our service providers are U.S.-based providers engaged to help us operate the Site and our business.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.
