Utah’s Canyon Country
We suggested to Utah’s Canyon Country that it was time to invest in some owned media—the kind of thing people seek out for entertainment while trying to avoid traditional ads.
The idea: Tell the story of the pandemic-era “Utah Monolith” and hunt for the answers everyone wants.
This isn’t quick, simple social media clips you record on your phone. This story called for a robust, multi-camera, on the ground, rent-a-helicopter-and-fly-into-the-desert type of production.
It took lots of planning, coordination and scrappiness. That’s where Brand Revolt shines.

This one is still in progress. Utah’s Canyon Country will be able to own an entertaining, PR-worthy piece of content that tells a story that takes place in their own backyard.
While an ad saying, “Come to Utah’s Canyon Country” gets mostly blocked or ignored, a documentary that says, “Remember that wild thing from 2020? There’s more to the story” gets eager attention. That attention is owned by our client.
